Christmas Outreach in Mongolia will potentially touch millions
MONGOLIA
December 25th is a regular work day in Mongolia. The celebration of Christmas is not part of this predominantly Buddhist culture, but the season of Advent does provide a wonderful opportunity for Christians to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
It has been the practice of FEBC Mongolia to have Outreach Events at Christmas to take advantage of the season of celebrating the remembrance of the birth of Christ, Emmanuel.
This year, Christmas 2010, is no different. A Christmas Outreach Program, consisting of Radio Drama Programs, a Christmas Presentation, and Christmas Promotion has been planned and is now well underway, with Christmas dramas being broadcast on 20 total stations throughout the country.
In each province of Mongolia a group of partnering churches are following up locals. Meanwhile, things are coming together for the big Christmas outreach at the central park in Ulaanbaatar, where the Christmas story will be shared to about 1000-1500 anticipated guests and families.
Their will be ministry to local orphanages and kids to help kids in hospitals - demonstrating the theme - "Love your neighbor as yourself."
FEBC Mongolia is expecting 1 million people will be impacted by this special Christmas outreach, and are praying that many will find and know Christ as Savior as the love of God is demonstrated in tangible ways.
FEBC Australia has been able to contribute greatly to making this Christmas presentation possible and so please join with us and pray that through these programs God speaks into many lives.
