God is doing great things in Mongolia
God is doing a fresh and vital work that’s sweeping across Mongolia by the wind of His Spirit.
In 1989, only four people in Mongolia knew Jesus Christ as Savior. FOUR in a country of more than two million.
One of those four believers was a 20-year-old former atheist living in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. God gave him a huge vision to start a Christian radio station to reach millions of Mongolians. So it was that in 2001, FEBC’s local Mongolian radio station “WIND FM” went on the air!
WIND FM has been providing programs making known to the people of Mongolia the love and hope found in Jesus Christ.
As a result they are seeing many responses as letters flood in from listeners requesting information. Some are even gathering at the radio station to find out more.
This year, as they celebrate ten years of bringing the gospel to Mongolia through their powerful station, church leaders tell us that today more than 60,000 Mongolians name Jesus Christ their Savior. How great is our God!
I wish you could meet the man who trusted God to begin this mighty work. You only need to spend a few minutes with him to see just how passionate he is to reach his countrymen for Christ.
“I want everyone in my country to have the chance to hear about salvation,” he says. “And in a nomadic country like Mongolia, the best way to do that is through radio.”
You can be a part of what God is doing in Mongolia:
First, pray for open hearts for the gospel!
Most of the two-plus million people in Mongolia deny God exists. Pray that God's Word takes root in people's lives.
Second, give to the mission of FEBC.
Resources directed to Mongolia build up the body of Christ and make known the Good News of Jesus.
God is doing great things multiplying ministry in the hard to reach and spiritually dark places like Mongolia.
